Blue Mountain Gutter Co. offers 5 and 6 inch seamless K Style gutters in both aluminum and copper materials.
About K Style Gutters - K Style gutters are traditional gutters made popular because of their resemblance to crown molding on the exterior of your home. Their curved shape makes them the most durable gutter type, protecting against the weight of leaves and debris without pulling away from your fascia. These gutters are an optimal choice for your Asheville home!
Blue Mountain Gutter Co. offers two types of gutter guards that we strongly believe are some of the best options on the market.
About Gutter Guards - Gutter guards are designed to prevent leaves and other debris from clogging up your gutter system. With all the options out on the market, it can be hard to decide which system is right for the situation at your home. To make matters worse, there are a lot of national brands making misleading claims about their abilities and what they can do for you. Our gutter guard page offers a deeper, in-depth look at the pros and cons of installing gutter protection on your Asheville home.
Blue Mountain Gutter Co. offers gutter cleanings, but also provides annual and biannual options so that you can set it and forget it!
About Gutter Cleaning - Keeping your gutters clean is vital to the health of every gutter and drainage system. We recommend cleaning your gutters out at least twice a year to ensure your gutters and drainage system are working properly.
Additional Services We Offer
When it comes to gutter replacement, there are a few unforeseen problems that can bring your gutter installation to a screeching halt, if you don’t choose a gutter company that can perform the additional work needed to complete the job.
Fascia Replacement
About Fascia Replacement - When replacing old, failing gutters, it is common to find fascia rot. Fascia is the wood attached to the rafter tails that supports your functioning gutters. If your fascia is in disrepair, rotting away, or warping, this can affect your gutters’ ability to do their job. Many times, you cannot determine whether your fascia needs to be replaced until you remove old gutters and / or fascia wrap.
Rest easy, knowing that our gutter installers have the ability to replace any rotten fascia that they come across. Other gutter installers may not offer fascia replacement, leaving you with “Surprise!’ no gutters on your home until you can find a carpenter or roofer to do the job.
*Please note that we are not carpenters. We are gutter installers, and only perform fascia replacement as part of the gutter replacement process. (the fascia located behind the gutters we are replacing)
Drip Edge Installation
About Drip Edge Installation - Drip edge goes a long way in protecting your fascia and foundation from water damage. Installing drip edge over the top of your gutters ensures that any excess water coming off of the roof will flow directly into your gutters and not behind them.
When installing new gutters, our gutter installers pull the drip edge out to slide the new gutter behind it. Whomever you choose to install your gutters, we highly advise asking them if they tuck the gutters behind the drip edge. Failure to do so can be a costly mistake. Installing gutters in front of drip edge will cause water to leak behind the gutter, rotting the fascia, and potentially damaging your home’s foundation.
Many older homes do not have drip edge. Blue Mountain Gutter Company offers drip edge installation. Regardless of the situation, we highly advise to have drip edge on your home.
*Please note that we are gutter installers. We are not roofers, and only install drip edge as part of the gutter replacement process. (The drip edge located above the gutters we are installing)
